Accessibility Statement
Accessibility at OnPoint Performance
OnPoint Performance is committed to making our website and clinical services accessible to people with disabilities. This statement documents our standards, our progress, and how to reach us if you encounter a barrier.
Our commitment
OnPoint Performance PLLC is committed to providing equal access to information and services through our website and telehealth practice. We believe that healthcare should be accessible regardless of a person's abilities, the technology they use, or the assistive devices they rely on.
We treat accessibility as an ongoing responsibility rather than a one-time project. We continue to test, refine, and improve our digital and clinical experiences to remove barriers wherever we find them.
Conformance standard
OnPoint Performance aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines define how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive impairments.
WCAG 2.1 Level AA is the standard referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and by the U.S. Department of Justice in its enforcement of digital accessibility. Where possible, we incorporate guidance from the more recent WCAG 2.2 guidelines as well.
What we have done
Specific accessibility measures we have implemented across our website:
- Semantic HTML structure with proper heading hierarchy and landmark regions for screen reader navigation.
- Sufficient color contrast between text and background, meeting or exceeding WCAG AA contrast ratios.
- Descriptive alt text on all informational images.
- Keyboard navigation support for interactive elements including the site navigation, forms, and the mobile menu.
- Resizable text that remains legible and functional when zoomed up to 200 percent.
- Clear focus indicators on interactive elements.
- Plain, readable typography with adequate line spacing and font sizes.
- Mobile-responsive layouts that adapt to a range of screen sizes and orientations.
Known limitations
We are honest about where work remains. The following are known accessibility limitations we are actively working to address:
- Some embedded third-party content (such as the booking platform and video consultations) may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards. We have selected vendors that prioritize accessibility, but we cannot guarantee complete conformance for content we do not directly control.
- Some older blog posts and documents may not yet have full alt text or transcripts. We are reviewing and remediating older content on a rolling basis.
- Video content, where present, may not yet have closed captions or transcripts on all items. We are working to add these as content is updated.
If you encounter a specific barrier not listed above, we want to know. See the contact section below.
Third-party platforms
OnPoint Performance uses several third-party platforms to deliver services. Each maintains its own accessibility commitments:
Squarespace
Our website is built on Squarespace. Squarespace's accessibility commitments and conformance information are available at squarespace.com/accessibility.
Practice Better
Our patient portal, scheduling, and clinical communication run on Practice Better, a HIPAA-compliant clinical platform. Practice Better's accessibility information is available through their support team.
Video consultations
Telehealth visits are conducted through a secure HIPAA-compliant video platform provided by Practice Better. If you require accommodations for your video visit, see the accommodation request section below.
Requesting accommodations for clinical visits
If you require specific accommodations to participate fully in a telehealth visit with Gretchen Delgado, please let us know in advance so we can prepare. Examples of accommodations we can provide:
- Written communication in place of video for patients who are deaf or hard of hearing.
- Extended visit times for patients who need additional time to communicate.
- Alternate formats for written materials (large print, plain text, screen-reader-friendly).
- Phone-based visits in place of video, where clinically appropriate.
- Coordination with a caregiver, interpreter, or support person you designate.
Submit accommodation requests through the contact information below at least 48 hours before your scheduled visit, when possible. We will work with you to confirm accommodations before your appointment.
Reporting an accessibility barrier
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on our website or while interacting with our practice, please contact us. We respond to accessibility reports as a priority and aim to acknowledge each report within two business days and provide a substantive response within ten business days.
When reporting a barrier, the following information helps us respond more effectively:
- The URL or page where you experienced the barrier.
- The assistive technology or device you were using, if applicable.
- A description of the barrier and what you were trying to accomplish.
- Any specific accommodation that would help.
